What We Do

The Friends of the Tin Church was established in early 2018 following a large meeting in the Tin Church which indicated there was much enthusiasm amongst the community to raise the profile of this unique and beautiful Church and to help maintain it. The committee comprises members of the congregation and community.

The aims of The Friends of the Tin Church are:

To raise the profile of the Tin Church
To offer and/r provide practical help to maintain the Tin Church building
To organise events and other fundraising activities to help and maintain the Tin Church.

Fundraising so far

Stalls at local events selling items such as plants, crafts or donated items
Events such as a BBQ, local history talks, walks and exhibitions
