The Parish of Abbots Langley

Welcome to our Parish

Grants awarded!

St Lawrence Church is in need of stonework repair - sooner rather than later - to stop some of the beautiful stained-glass windows falling out and to stop other stonework eroding any further.  It will cost in the region of £102,000.  We are well on the way with money we already have, much of it raised by the Friends of St Lawrence, but we are also applying for grants - and we heard recently that we have been awarded £3,000 by AllChurches Trust - we are very grateful to them for this boost to our fundraising.  We have also received £10,000 from the Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust - great news.  You'll be hearing soon how you can help! - and then, later in the year, the scaffolding will appear!
