Malawi 2018

In the summer of 2018 a group of volunteers from St Lawrence Church will be travelling to Malawi where they will work on projects with communities in Malosa. This follows a highly successful trip in 2014 and the team are very much looking forward to witnessing for themselves the differences their work has made, to renewing friendships and to strengthening our existing link.

Malawi is one of the least-developed countries in the world and does not have the infrastructure or facilities that we in the West take for granted. The good news is that aid workers and charities are working alongside the people of Malawi to help improve things - but there is still much that needs to be done.

Please see the posters at this link for further information.  They are also on display in the church hall.

An update on the project is available here.

Report on the 2014 visit to Malawi - part 1 / part 2 - written in 2014 for the church magazine following the visit.
