Bell Ringing
St Lawrence has a peal of six bells dating from 1734. They were renovated and re-hung in 1994. The ringers ring for the Parish Communion each Sunday and occasionally for other services, and for weddings when asked to do so. Learner or experienced ringers are always welcomed. Practice night is Monday from 7.30 to 9.15 p.m. David Harris is Tower Captain.
OASIS
Fancy a stroll in congenial company? Why not walk with OASIS? These Occasional Afternoon Strolls In Summer take place on the last Sunday of the month from May to September. They normally meet in the church car park at 2.30 p.m., drive a short distance to a pre-thought-out destination, then walk for a couple of hours before returning by car.
