Bell Ringing
St Lawrence has a peal of six bells dating from 1734. They were renovated and re-hung in 1994.
The bells are rung for the Parish Communion every Sunday, occasionally for other services and for weddings on request (a fee applies).
Learner or experienced ringers are always welcome. Practice night is Monday from 7.30 to 9.15 p.m. The Tower Captain is Phill Higgs.
If you are interested in learning to ring (we always need new ringers), want to find out more about bell ringing or would like the bells rung for a special occasion: please contact the Church Office via the Contact Us page and they will put you in touch.
